This will be second grow im starting, Well first REAL grow, my first grow was a experimental try, but is this too advanced to try without stressing the plant out much? Im growing BF blue cheese, And read blueberry benefits from topping more than not, and this seems optimal to get a good amount.

i wouldnt give up. Not everyone is inherently a green thumb. but Just think through what you did in the grow and Critique yourself hard. I gaurentee the next grow will be better. you are your worst critic always.

I have only read, that You put a plant in darkness 24-48 hours right before harvest. it helps mature whats remaining unmatured. and my past experiences with it I see alot Shinier Trichs on the plant in darkness before chopping than a plant that didnt go through the darkness before the axe. But...

No the vermiculite is not needed, but does help hold water and helps balance soils with minerals Perlite helps hold water, but doesnt supply any extra minerals.

from what i read an HPS grow minus a 2week seedling 4ft FL set up actually would yield more than a MH to HPS set up. BUT with a pure HPS grow it will take one week longer to mature but. people claim the yield is higher with pure HPS

I dont know about how much PPM it adds. but epsom salt is Mg and usually add 1g/gallon

ive seen somewhere on here with experiments to back it up that 16/8 veg times actually get you a bigger yeild than 18/6 so technically your wasting 2 hours of light.

Completely blew my mind I never thought of doing that wow... Gonna try it.
