i know people who use molasses with success in hydro, it just had to be diluted with hot water first. that being said, i just use botanicare sweet instead of molasses. if you didnt dilute your molasses then that might be a problem...

im kind of thinking its a way to conserve water/nutes??? you know like kind of adding a brick or whatever in your toilet resevoir so the water will fill higher? do you think that is what it could be? so, for example, instead of having to use 30 gallons, you would only need 20 or whatever...

fizz tablets are cheap and easy, but you cant control the ppms and the worst thing about them is they get MESSY!

or spray some sugar water on them so they cant fly into the light. but that is also cruel and unusual punishment...

for instance, in my setup, during flower i feed it twice a day and flood for 15 minutes. now when you flood,you do that exact same thing with straight water instead of with nutes (or a very diluted amount of nutes) for the last 2 weeks.

yeah there is a carbon filter but if smell becomes an issue i can always add another filter on the exhaust.

i fill up to about 1/2 or 1/3 way up my 6x6x6 RW slabs. and since i have a built in resevoir, i can only use a diffuser to aerate the water.

hello, i was wondering i can have AC and CO2 on at the same time or is this just wasting CO2? i would have the oscillating fans and the scrubber fan off, but i am worried that the temps will be too high with the AC off. the AC unit i use has an exhaust and intake tube that goes out to a separate...
