I agree w/ inneedofbuds. Keefing weed is like stealing the high from whoever you sell it to. I've seen this before and opted not to purchase the bag. Keefing doesn't make sense to me. Even if it was for my own head, I prefer my crystals to be on the bud. But to each his own.

I would suggest you wait a week before flowering. It normaly takes about that long for the plant to get back on track. Let the plant heal before you push her.

I think trimming the bottom of the plant is called lollipopping. I think. It may stunt your plant for a short time, but it should be ok. Making the plant focus it's energy on the buds on top is a good idea. Keep us posted as to what this does to the pant.

Read the growfaqs. If you don't force flower them, the sex can show up anywhere between 5-8 weeks depending on the strain. It may take even longer. If you are in a closet w/ limited space, you may want to force flower at a certain height.

were you buying real bud over the internet? Where is BM?

I don't think 20 minutes is that big a deal as long as the cycle is the same day in and day out.

I don't know much about doing the whole grow with cfl's. You might want to think about a small HPS. You can get a good 250 watt one from HTG supply. If not, your going to need a lot more cfl's.

Go ahead and buy some bigger pots. But don't transplant directly into a 3 gal containers. They will stretch. I went from solo cups to 1 1/2 gal pots and into 3 gal pots at the beginning of flower. Also, get a bigger light asap.

At least you can still use the light. Is the bulb itself cracked?

Also, how far a way is your light. You want it to be loke 1 inch away. You might want to get one more 40 watt cfl and let each plant have her own.

Sprouts 24 flo, I veg 24/7. some people 1/6. For flower 12/12. Generaly that is what most people do.

I think LST stands for Low Stress Training. Gently bending or tying down a plant to grow more horizontal. Works well sometimes. As for topping, this is your first grow so why not expirement with one plant just to learn. The results may help you with future grows.

If those are fungus gnats, you can use a mosquito dunk. I bought them at a hardware store. It is used to treat standing water so that no mosquitos can breed. I have a five gallon bucket filled up and I placed a dunk in it. Everytime I water, I fill my jug half way with the dunk water and halh...

Those plpants look really healthy. I would flower at 12" to 18" if you have to keep them under 3 1/2'. Aslo, are you thinking about LST or topping the plant? Both might give you more bang for your space. what kind of light are you using?
