Why not pollinate your first grow to get more seeds?

Sloanz, I don't think you're understanding the term hybrid vigor correctly. You're not comparing a clone and a seed. You're comparing the original strain and the hybrid cross strain. "F1 hybrids are often bigger and more robust than either of the parent populations used in the creation of the F1...

Led grow? Is it really worth it?

Good LEDs are prohibitively expensive. Also, where do you get 800w lights? If you want to experiment, try plasma lights.

    fluffy brown dusty stuff.

If your midity is over 60% in flower, that's going to happen every single time. If you're growing in a green house, you need a lot of ventilation to lower your RH. Sounds like you're close to 100%.

Why not pollinate your first grow to get more seeds?

Whoever said clones yield less than seeds is MIGHTILY misinformed. Not only are you getting an exact replica of your best female of the bunch, you're getting a plant that requires less veg time that is also more thc potent. Quoted in marijuana horticulture by Jorge Cervantes "a six-month old...

    Painting Question

flat is the best way to go, but as the above poster mentioned, you need to mix some mold inhibitors into the paint. There's a product called Kilz that you can find at stores like wal-mart and home depot. that's what you need.

Everybody here has been talking about the problem of getting power and that is definitely a big problem. Super Silver Haze Start of grow problem!

there's no point in feeding a plant individual nutrients like only nitrogen. these plants need over 14 different nutrients to grow so what you need is general plant food. hydroponic grade nutrients would be best but if you have nothing else, go to home depot and buy what they have. It sounds...

OMG!! Help! Help! I lost hope!!!!

your plant isn't producing enough sex hormones to show one sex, let alone two. Any stress you give the plant in veg will not affect flowering as long as everything is fixed and the plant is given enough time to recuperate before flowering. Your plants look great, a lot better than my lemon hazes.

Please tell me how this is possible??

I believe there are two reasons for better growth of your one plant. Firstly, it's a clone not a seed. Clones provide a huge jump start to the plant, sometimes as much as 4 weeks. Depending on the age of the mother, you could have a high thc, high ferted clone that simply produces more...

So many people saying the word 'Hermie'! Dose anyone even know what one is???

as grumpy said, all genetics have the ability to turn into a hermaphrodite and yes, any plant who has both sexes is technically a hermie. It would take decades of work and research on the genetic level to cull this trait from the species. Deal with it!

harvesting, without microscope how do u do it best

you're never gonna get as close as your could with a loupe but if you start to see the pistils change color to a burnt orange (dependent on strain) that is a good sign. Also, most plants will start to yellow in the fan leafs as they put all of the energy into the buds.

    Odds these girls are moldy?

this is actually a bad time for rain and you may in fact see signs of mold. The amount of rain we've gotten on the east coast has actually affected quite a few crops (tomatoes, pumpkins, etc) and I expect outdoor crops to be the same
