make a splint & cross your fingers

attach a fan to the carbon filter - it will force the smelly air through the filter, exhausting clean air. you don't have to duct the exhaust anywhere, just force air through your filter. it is the most effective method.

flush (with PH'd water) & test the runoff water PH. don't give nutes yet.

Add some dolimitic lime to the soil, as a PH buffer & trace mineral source. It's sometimes called 'soil sweetener.'

Switchable, you say? Throw in the HPS bulb until you can figure out the issues with the MH. Plants may stretch a little, but they'll keep on growing.
