    best reflective material?

Really? The panda plastic reflects less the 60% light.... (if you shine a light at it is it really 40% dimmer then the flat white wall its next to?) Seriously what made you say that? Panda plastic is awesome, mylar is hard to hang and it creases and tears easily. It all has its uses, panda...

is a Fan used just for the heat???

Its important to get air moving in a growroom so the temp stays constant across the room. It also helps get that stanky air to the room exhaust port.

Are trimmed leaves good for ur plant?

How do you know, did you leave one untrimmed so you could tell the difference? We arent telling you not to do it because its "scary" its becuase its a bad idea Its good to know that contrary to everything I have learned, its paying off from you, but again, how do you know? Edit: This might...

Hybrid vigor. Females grown from seed are often higher yielding than clones. Strains

Your saying that in your experience cloning clones, (i do the same) you have never noticed a downward trend of overall plant health? I think the differences are apparent between 5th gen clones and plants grown from seed. And we arent talking about a seed of 1 plant vs a clone of another, poor...

Hybrid vigor. Females grown from seed are often higher yielding than clones. Strains

Its good you guys agree hybrid vigor must not make a difference....Jesus Christ. Marijuana Botany by Robert Clarke page 70d (Essentially that hybrid vigor is the breeding of two distinct genetic parents instead of similar ones (back crossing) this combines the dominant traits of the two which...

Are trimmed leaves good for ur plant?

Dont trim your leaves, tuck them out of the way if you must but the fan leaves store easily metabolized nutrients that your plant needs. It will rob you of growth potential as your exposing it to more light but removing the nutrient it would use to take advantage of that light

Electronic Drip Method, am I crazy ????

That sounds good but you dont want the soil uniformly damp all the time. I would use it to detect an optimum dryness point that enhances root growth, then a gradual saturation to another predetermined moisture point. This could eliminate alot of waste that automated systems are known for I just...

SolarMax Dual Arc Tube HPS/MH Combo Bulbs?

For the expense I just want to see the 600watt hps and 400halide combo (thats how its described) next to a 1000 watt hps for flowering (also about 30-50000 more lumens in a conventional 1000) The side by side would be illuminating but I dont know if it will result in either higher quality buds...

    Help! Photoperiod screwup!

I threw off my photo period in the flowering room last night. Where they normally go on at 4 am and off at 4 pm there was a power failure and the light remained on. I figure that the net change was about 6hrs of additional light 4am to 10 pm) and its normally about 6 hours left till the light is...

Am i an idiot? (jiffy pellets/germination)

Iv used jiffy pots fine, paper towels (dont pull the root out, tear the paper) and just soil but the main thing is to give them time and not fuck with them. If the soil/jiffy/whatever is moist the seed will grow, 2 weeks later you can dig it up and figure out what went wrong but there isnt any...

    Soil Drainage problem

They look just terrible, just terrible. What light are you using? As far as drainage, I dont use ANY perlite or vermiculite or any of that garbage because I want my soil to have nutes in it. I dont think you have a drainage problem, I think you are overwatering and not giving the soil a change...

    Light wich is more convenient?

Simple and easy are two different things, someone might tell you that using cfls is the cheapest easiest way to go, but if you think about things and educate yourself like data meant to say, you can start like I did with a HID system and grow awesome buds from the getgo HTGsupply.com for ideas...
