Your electric co. has a puter program that flags any sudden change in usage. If you ramp up over a 2 or 3 mo. period you could easily use another $100/mo. & no one would notice. Peace Jack

Depends on how big the wire is. Actually depends on how big the breaker is. Your looking at 10 amps & you should not load a circuit above 80%. Never seen a 12A breaker but you guys do stuff diff on that side of the pond, just guessing I would say you would need a 15A breaker. Peace

1 amp @240v=2amp @120v exactly the same amount of power. that's what you buy 6a@240v would cost1/3 more to run then 9a@120v jack
