I don't know the answer but I would email Gavita and ask what the difference between the digistar 1000 and the pro 1000 ballasts are. I would guess the digistar is a lower frequency but I don't know. - Jiji

If cold air hits the ceiling (or anything) in a warm room, if its cold enough air, it will cool the object below the dew point. Condensation will build, and you'll have moisture on that spot. - Jiji
