    AeroGarden?

Notice all those plants in the picture are leafy greens. They grow well under the relatively low intensity fluorescent light of the A.G. If you want dense flowers like those present on quality cannabis, use HID lighting. AKA I would only recommend the aerogarden for rooting clones or something...

    1500 Watt HPS - 137 Lumens/Watt !!

...Yes, a successful prototypic electronic ballast. And efficient too at 137.3 lumens/watt. There was an ad for it at a local hydro store and I saw that it was fairly new. There's only one thread about it on RIO and it's buried in the wrong sub-forum. The Facts 1500 watts. Electronic...

    Master blaster galaxy

Bump. I just saw an advertisement about this at a local hydro store. 1500 watts and 206,000 lumens = 137.3 lumens/watt!!! Holy shit! Thought the efficiency would be tumbling that high, but that's incredible. I mean, what, 600 watt super HPS is 150 lumens/watt? Damn. Any growers out there get...

    DIY Drying Agent/Desiccant

Bump. Any mod want to help a poor grower who should have posted this in the DIY section?

    DIY Drying Agent/Desiccant

Wonder if I can get an admin to sticky this. Any other comments/questions? Edit: And then I realize there's already a DIY subforum. Doh.

    DIY Drying Agent/Desiccant

You can 'quick dry' weed if you enclose it in a sealed container (not a shoe box) with some drying agent. Slow drying is the preferred method, though, from what I've read. But it can be used. Thanks much! I hope this is a useful one :).

    DIY Drying Agent/Desiccant

Did you know that one of the most powerful drying agents used in organic synthesis can be purchased in nearly any supermarket? In fact, some of you growers have used the hydrated form of this substance to correct magnesium deficiencies in your gardens. I’m talking about, of course...

I joined this site specifically because it had a large comprehensive growing community and the other parts of the site are awesome as well. I never had the chance to join Overgrow.com, but from what I've read this place is one of the main 'spinoffs'. I'm very happy here, very awesome community.

    just released from emergency

Holy shit, Concerta is methylphenidate. I'm on that. My wife smacked me playfully this evening and I suddenly felt really angry for no reason. Do you also get those 'brain zaps'? Fuck.

NEON YELLOW -NEON GREEN....nEver seen Dis

LOL! Cocky aren't we. I still say you need to take a clone and overdose it with fertilizers to truly confirm that you have a new phenotype/mutant.

More to get off my chest: The LAW is in my family

I understand your need to vent- it doesn't make what happened to you any less important. I think we all just need to relax :leaf:, including the cops.

    So my psychiatrist said...

He had already prescribed me it earlier this year. After my conversation with him about fatigue and motivation (and cannabis), he doubled my dosage- I can take upwards of 60 mg/day now.

NEON YELLOW -NEON GREEN....nEver seen Dis

LOL. Well, it appears to be the same 'species' as the rest of the plants he's showing. Assuming he fed it the same as the others, I would say it might be a mutant of some sort. Of course, the mutation could be that it really requires more nutes to keep it green, in which case that's a pretty...

More to get off my chest: The LAW is in my family

That's fucked up. My father is the type of guy to go out his way and help others no matter the cost to himself. In doing so he surrounds himself with other good friends who are also cops, and at the same time he is taken advantage of by the not-so-caring people who work for his department...

Excellent/thoughtful advice. I've done some reading on the subject and it makes me sad when I realize that drugs such as LSD are banned when there is solid evidence to suggest that they may be extremely effective in the treatment of certain mental diseases. When will science dictate politics...

More to get off my chest: The LAW is in my family

So, yeah, my father is a +25 year veteran of the force, former DARE officer all that good stuff. Not surprisingly, it came to my understanding in the last few months that I and my two siblings all enjoy cannabis. So, I'm already anticipating some really interesting holiday conversations. Now...

That's too bad, I remember my one psych class during my undergrad where the professor teaching it also loved drugs. As a matter of fact he discussed his experiences with drugs and used them as examples in class. I too would love to learn more about my brain from psychedelics. Someday.

NEON YELLOW -NEON GREEN....nEver seen Dis

Oh, and despite all the ribbing I've given h8red1 I don't doubt that he's telling the truth. It could be a strange nutrient deficiency, but I think a good explanation is that he has a plant with some sort of mutation that either results in low levels of chlorophyll or even the chlorophyll...

LOL some interesting opinions. As a scientist I really wonder what the definitive answer to the question "What are the long term effects of cannabis use?". I mean, if you smoke 24/7 and never really give your brain time to recharge in between hits I think you would come across as a bit slower...
