i think that ppl are really paranoid on this thread and need to do there own research on all of the above, people don't fully believe anything they hear unless they have read it for themselves so go do your own reading then you wont be arguing on here, your'll be growing nice bud instead

i do intend on getting a HPS just wanna see what the cfl's produce and if its enough i'll keep using them, like i said im hoping 3 plants is plenty for me to smoke.

yea i know they would be better but this is cheap and it seems to work!!! there are plenty of people on rollitup that have had good results from cfl's so i'll see what happens i think. i too am only doing it so i don't have to pay the high prices, 3 plants is plenty till next harvest i hope.

I put a couple more cfl's in now with another homemade reflector, i have them as side lights and the babies are loving them!!! The only problem is that one of them seem's to have small white spots on it, only one leaf tho. I'll try getting a pic of it and i'll post it later, any advice would be...

They seem to work for other growers, what did you have in mind????? The plants seem to like them as they have grown an inch in a day and look really healthy. Im always open to new idea's so shoot!!

The tank is 3'x18"x18" i turned it on its end so i got 3' high and 18"sq floor space

Its just sat at the bottom of the space at the mo but ill put it bk at the top sucking air in, in the morning, like i said i moved it coz of the temps going up

I started it at the top of the tank sucking in air but as the reflector held the heat i moved it to the bottom but left the top of the tank open, hopfully this is right!?!?!?!? Maybe a smaller reflector needs making lol

A good temp is between 70/80 and the humidity about 60%/80%, thats what i was told anyway

I was using rain water intil i realised the barrel i was getting it out of was full of little mites, thats why i changed to tap water! I'll defo check out the pages you said about thanks

I just been and bought a couple of 20w cfl's and i was wondering if any 1 had any advice on how best to use them in my grow space, i currently have them hanging over the top of the seedlings, would getting more for the side's really make much difference???? Here is a few pics thanks :-p

I just bought 1 from b+q, i use them for my lizard tank lights, it seems to do the job!! Its one with the pins that you move around for different times. Lol
