    Best color temp for veg?

I posted it! But, I post a lot and I can't remember the thread. There were 3 leaves I remember from a legume. All the same age. And they were, you guessed it, small, medium and large. (there was reams of data and science, also) The warm is a boon for Veg. The 3000K produced the largest...

    Best color temp for veg?

The latest seem to say, that photosynthesis occurs across the spectrum with the peaks of production for the Chlorophyll pair. But, it is quite possible the total of the rest of the reaction is equal to the peaks for Chlorophyll. But, other structures carry on other work at other spectrum. So...

    Best color temp for veg?

What are doing but passive aggressive? You did not bring it up for a specific reason. That's true. So how can I be angry with you? I thought we were discussing Botany. And you missed the point. If you believe what you put out here, today, you have been marketed to. Not an argument from...

    Best color temp for veg?

No. And unless you can up with some Botany on that, I don't think you are correct. You have been marketed to. I am chasing down the science and posting it here. The science says that is not correct.

    CXA3590 Build Plan

Well, as much as I like the bathroom for a workshop I can't get the torque holding with my little suction cup vise. I am finally getting out of this hotel at the end of the month. I need to set up a bench vise, but this will work fine. Hey! I didn't know RIU has mouse drag on photo...

Why do HID lights have better penetration?

I know I can do it and I am doing it. But, I would not sell it to you. :) I thought the same way, but just in the last few years there has been an major breakthrough. Now I can get a $50 dollar device that runs at 50% efficiency and produces 50w. I am building an 800w set up now and will...

Is it? What is the total impedance with tape? Much higher (worse)

Would not trust cheap sources IAC< Exactly! And I think folks should read up on what feminized actually is. "Stressing" is not what is going on, IMO.

    COB holders - the basics

No. :) Of course that will "work" but as you say....does it? Use blue masking tape and make a stencil. Use a stiff scarper, to lay in a TIM pad. When it stiffens again you remove the tape (the best stuff, you work the material first, stirring it on a pallet board like you would mix epoxy)...

    COB holders - the basics

Probably a good idea to slide a single edge razor blade under one side, then, as I lift, I wlll keep pressure on the blade to cut the material off instead of breaking the COB. The less ham fist fitted, among us, can try other techniques. :)

    COB holders - the basics

I just got these in for the CXB3590. Not easy find even still, at this price. You can buy them all day for $7.65 on Amazon. I got these from Newark14 for $2.55 really matters since I will be running around 50 COBs at 50w each by the time I'm done. The main thing is I can set torque on...

    Best color temp for veg?

I don't really follow that logic. Low light density is what causes stretch. Just start a seedling and then cover it loosely with a fold of black cloth. Let there be a light opening on the end, like a pup tent. Where will that seeding, stretch its little ass off, to get to? OK, now take a...
