    How many seeds does it take to find a keeper?

    Really it all depends on the strain. Northern lights is extremely stable, so you will likely find a keeper rather quickly. However, strains that are not bred very well will take more seeds to find a nice plant

    growing with Tap water

    I use tap water but it comes from some kind of spicket that's hooked up to some filter. Not sure what kind of filter. Never had any problems with it though

    Different strains grow faster. Also males usually grow faster. My white widow sprouted 2 days earlier than a bag seed and they are both the same size last time I checked
