i use fox farm ocean forrest soil. i mix 20% perlite, and thats it. works great for me. dont need to be mixin all kinds of stuff with it, just perlite. 20% or until it has a bit of "bounceback" when u flatten it.

50% strength every other watering....i use ff ocean forest soil+ff nutes. just go to their website and print out the nutes chart. follow it (at 50% strength). you'll be good to go.

yea. i clone into soil everytime(fox farm/ocean forest). just keep the dirt moist, not wet. and very important: keep the dirt warm and they will root very fast. rubberband a plastic sandwichbag over the cup for humidity. i poke a couple holes in mine for fresh air.

here's a gauge to go by: your leaves should have a gentle breeze on them. if it looks like theres a hurricane in your your room, thats bad. even a little rough is okay as it strengthens the stems, but i would think your watering/ heat/ etc. should be checked first...good luck, and happy growing.
