I'm no expert, but if you're starting your grow in May and want to be out by April, thats enough for 2-3 grows....as far as how often to check on your plants...I would be willing to bet most people check on their plants AT LEAST once a day....

I did an experiment with this, taking clippings from the top, middle and bottom of a mother plant. I had a couple different 3 foot moms and the results from all the plants were the same. What I found was that the clippings from the bottom root much faster than clippings from the top or middle...

Take a clone from each plant, after it roots put it into 12/12 and then you will find out which are female and you can pull them out. Should be able to tell in about 2 weeks.
