It all depends on how big your grow space is. Give us your dimensions and how many plants you want to grow. What kind of space is it?

Yeah Phelps the Motivation is doing ok, but not nearly as good as the Armageddon. I think it has a longer flowering period, so it's moving a little slower. Here is the Motivation...

Yeah get HID if you want ounces from a single plant. With the amount of CFLs you would have to buy you might as well get a single HID and the lower watt HIDs like 150w or 250w are pretty easy to control the heat. Multiple higher watt CFLs put off about the same heat as a single lower wattage HID.

You might have crowding issues. Those cups are too close together. Unless you do autos or some other small stature strain.

Ok I just did the math and I'm on day 35 of flowering. I thought I was 6 weeks in, I'm glad it's only 5. Things make more sense now. Buds are continuing to grow at a regular pace and I'm looking forward to the next few weeks!

No bananas or balls still. I'm hoping these buds will fatten up soon, they still look weak.

Anyone have any ideas why the hairs on one of my plants are turning orange already? The pics don't do it justice. All the hairs are turning orange and the calyxes are splitting open. No bananas or balls anywhere, but she's acting weird.

No, I have a 600w MH/HPS and I used shop lights as side lighting earlier on.

I wouldn't go larger than 3.5x3.5. However many plants you can fit in that without over crowding. Here is a chart for lighting distance....
