get some exhale bags they release co2 slowly over about 4 months. they will help with overall yeilds. Hotshots slowly release pesticides into the air but they are safe for food and such according to the website, they last about 3 months.

keep them kinda short, if you grow trees like I have started to you run into problems with lighting and overall coverage. make sure you have some hotshots hanging. mites will spread rampid without them. I have my lights and vent fans on the same timer so that the room saturates with hotshots...
