Personally, I clone in 1 inch rockwool, then just stick the cube into the netpot, filling under and around the rockwool with hydroton. Everyone's got their own technique though.

if its a male, its gotta go. sorry. Why do you have more 2700k than 6500k on a veg cycle? The plants use much more of the "Daylight" spectrum while vegging, it'll help keep it short and bushy. Yeah, these are better than aluminum foil, that stuff's not very good at all, it doesn't reflect...

They look nice, though I can tell you that you'll need to invest in some better lighting shortly. Two flouro bulbs aren't going to produce enough light to take them through flowering. They could veg on that, but you'd get really slow growth. Try getting some CFLs, they're not very expensive...

Personally, I'd go with option 1, but that's just me. It'd be the cheapest way right now, and be easiest to upgrade. If you're flowing some right off and vegging others, a switchable wont do much good, you'll need two growing areas. Son Agro would be cool, but again if youll have two spaces, why...
