Way to go, Portland! So now what?

Hopefully LePage will have nothing to do with it. The push for state legalization will be 2016 and I hope LePage is long gone by then.

"They" aren't going to allow anything. It changes nothing according to police chief.

Way to go, Portland! So now what?

Not hardly. The police chief has vowed that his officers will uphold state law.

Way to go, Portland! So now what?

Pot legalization wins big in Portland, getting 67% of the vote. It sends a good message, perhaps setting the stage for state in 2016. Police chief assures the city that it changes nothing. http://www.pressherald.com/politics/Portland_could_set_precedent_with_marijuana_vote.html

    Go Sox!

All in all, a pretty good series so far lol Hey, all they gotta do is play 500 ball, at home, the rest of the season :) They did better than that all season long.

Yeah, the T5s at HTG are 2' and 4'. They probably come in other sizes too. BTW..many people don't know this. The "T" number of a florescent light refers to the overall width of the bulb. You divide the number by 8 and that is how many inches wide the bulb is. A T5 is 5/8" wide. A T12 is...

    Bulbs; especially 1000 watt hps.

The tests were done with presumably new bulbs. I think it is equally, if not more important to see what the bulbs put out after, say, 1k hours.

That looks like a good deal for what you get, the rack and all. Of course, there's no telling how good the light is. I just know the ones at HTG are really nice. They cost about twice as much though.

I'm not familiar with the hydrofarm fixture, give me a link and I'll take a look. HTG has 2' and 4' T5s that are really nice. I have one of the 4' and about five of the 2'. I use those for cloning and for the small pots, which all together is about a month. You'll be surprised how well they...

Ok I'm not gonna get in a big discussion about this, so no one get any ideas lol However...if LED lights were all they are touted to be, everyone would be using them. They aren't.

I use a couple of Clonex products. The gel is used before you put the cut in the cloning machine or soil or whatever. There are also many rooting powders available for this. What they do generally is provide hormones the plant needs to develop roots. The Clonex solution is used in the water...

After they come out of the EZ Cloner they go into 6" pots. I let those grow tall, usually 3-4 weeks. Yes, when I transplant them into final pots (3 gal nursery buckets), I plant them literally parallel to the ground. I do not have a recent pic of this, but here is one a couple years old: I...

That is a tricky question. There are many techniques for growing. Unlike growing Christmas-tree like outdoors, folks have height restrictions indoors. For example, I use low stress training (LST) in my 6' basement. I let them grow to nearly two feet in small pots, then when I transplant I...

HTG is always 5% off for patients/caregivers. I'm pretty sure that when they run something special like Grow Depot is running, it's on top of the 5%. Oh, and HTG has this points system. Every dollar you spend gets a point and you redeem points for merchandise. I've gotten a lot of stuff that...

Yep, nuttin wrong with ProMix, especially if $ is an issue. I did side by side comparisons a couple times last year, using various combinations of ProMix, FFOF and Roots, as well as each by itself and with various strains (some 20 plants in all lol). I honestly did not see a huge difference...

Letting the dispensary maintain rights to one plant does give you someplace to get meds in a pinch. Where are you located anyway? County, town?
