is it possible to harvest half of the plant???

dont look for red hairs to tell if its ready... look closely for amber CRYSTALS, that'll tell you deff when it's done

    Preflower Help!

i cant really see what it is in the pic, but it sounds like you are describing very young preflowers. Both males and females have preflowers that look similar, depending on the observers eye. When I see them on a young plant I've started from seed, I wait for the white hairs to pop out before I...

    cfl growing

that's my current plant, getting chopped next week. It's lookin to yeild about 1.5oz dried. Though the first time I flowered using CFLs, I grew a wee little bonzi (as seen in my avatar) to about 8in tall. That lil one yeilded about half a Z. As they always say, pratice makes perfect. You'll...

    cfl growing

i use two 2700K (32watt) and two 5000K (26watt) for flowering one plant in a hydro DWC setup. For personal stash smoke, CFL's will do nicely though more light is almost always better

    1st Grow, Indoor, CFL

your lights are too far away from the tops of the plants. Thats why your stems are so weak that they cant stand on their own. A fan will also help with this issue. Other then that, your setup looks great

What Lights Should I Get For Indoor Growrroom?

your plan sounds great... using floros during veg will help with keeping your temps and energy costs down in the beginning.

What do you guys do for watering your soil garden?

I like to fill two gallon milk jugs with water. Mix up my nutes in one and keep plain water in the other, then water-water-feed throughout the week. This has worked well for me in both soil and hydro.

    need some advice

i would suggest, for the future, vegging under CFLs and only using that HPS for flowering if you dont have a conversion ballast. Thats why your plant looks to frail and lanky, too much red spectrum.

    Preflower Help!

You should talk to your hydro guy about pests. He's gonna know what bothersome insects are common to your area and can point you in the right direction on how to fix it. Ask him about Neem oil for pest control. If you wanna get fancy, look into using beneficial bugs, like praying mantis or...

    Preflower Help!

:-( - I sure hope your kids don't get into my garden... I would strongly suggest just watering with straight water for the next two weeks. The cats really won't do much harm other then munching. They tend to squat when they pee and bury their business. No issue is going to be fixed...

    Preflower Help!

I'd back off on feeding for a week or two. The browning at the tips of the leaves looks like nute burn. All that soil down in that hole is very rich, so keep watering without the bloom nutes. The damage the cat has cause won't do much harm since you have a little fence now. The node you had...

    Preflower Help!

tbsp is tablespoons. I use 2 tablespoons per gallon. just mix recommended doseage into a gallon of water and feed. Depending on how much rain is available, you might need to water once or twice in between feeding 8-10 days. Keep this feeding schedule until about 2 weeks before harvest and...
