Thats where I'm going wrong, I water in the dark and my grow room floor always ends up sopping wet and I poke my eye on the reflector hood! So, is it preferable to water, say, half hour before your lights are due to go out or half hour after they've come on??

Or doesn't it really matter?

As above? I usually finish in 6.5 litre pots and have always had rubbish results (max 2oz dry yield.) I'm now on my fourth grow which I've vegged properly (4 weeks under 400w mh) and am on about day 5 of 12/12 (400w hps.) I can see a couple of root ends poking slightly through the bottom of...

thanks for the replies :grin: heres some pics, they look yellow but thats the flash, they're about 3.5 weeks in veg using a 400w mh: this is the first time i've vegged properly, the other times its been the window ledge in british "summertime" or outside whilst my tents on a 12/12 cycle...

But with me not being very experienced (4th grow, all 4 been pretty bad) isn't there a danger of me lopping off something good?:lol:

As the title says, when do you do it? I've got 6 plants in week 4 of veg and am thinking of flipping them this weekend, I've not lolly popped before and fancy trying it on a couple, should I do it now/when I flip them/whilst in flower?? Thanks in advance for any replies :smile:

stuck this in a pot in the garden 90 days ago, no nutes, no watering (except rain obviously, i'm in the uk) it was just an experiment, how long til its ready do you reckon? if at all.......? :-P

decided to chuck my autos in the garden...... heres my sensi seeds white skunk, vegged for about 8 weeks and have been in 12/12 for 11 days, look a lot healthier than my shitty autos.....

Despite all that still got the same issue, temps now between 83f-89f, the four I over nuted are doing nothing and the three that have just had water are showing the same signs as the rest, I feel like giving up already........

I've already got a little set up with some temp issues here: https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/537670-my-set-up-killing-my.html In the last 24 hours I've got the temp down by about 5-10f to 83f to about 89f so hoping that'll help, I was looking at alternatives and cfl's looked perfect.....

So will that t5 set up veg from seed then flower to bud without having to change the bulbs?

Can you both veg and flower with cfl's? I'm hearing they're only good for vegging..... what about a 4 x 125w set up with reflector, could you veg and flower with a set up like that? Something like this...

Ok, disconnected my filter ducting and stretched it to just above my light, added a more powerfull desk fan, put some ducting in one of the holes just going out into the room and I've got the temp from between 84f - 86f - happy days - hopefully it'll stay there.... Id do a smiley but can't...
