You're right weed, you don't need all of that stuff if you want to keep a hot ballast in your tent or cab, it'll work fine

Tik the one plant has long hairs and the other one short, so I'd say it's just a phenotype of thing. They smell different too, the long haired one smells like an old pair of gym shoes, and the other is pretty skunky smelling.

A friend of mine over at another forum did 12/12 from seed on his first grow and had some pretty good results.. I told him I'd give it a try while I reveg one of the plants I have going now. I can get about 10 cups in my cab.. should be fun

Well since this is turning out to be a combined grow thing.. here are my 2 girls at 6 weeks.

If you can get your grow space totally light proof it's definitely a plus, especially if you're chasing down hermie problems. It's just one more thing to cross off

My cab is in a closet and I know it's not 100% lightproof. So far no problems, I just make it as dark as I can by covering leaks up when the lights go out in my cab

Howdy aftershock, I'm actually thinking about doing a 12/12 from seed hempy run next time, using beer cups. I might even throw in a clear container while I'm at it. We'll see if it really hurts anything. I have a bunch of old bagseeds I want to use.

As a rule you can expect an indica dominant plant to double in height during 12/12...sativas a bit more. Your plants look to be mostly indica. It's ok if they're touching your walls a little. Just make sure you have some air moving in your room

I think you're probably right to let them go a little longer. I think the finish times breeders give are more or less a ballpark amount of time, and like you said..under ideal conditions.
