Sound like fore sure hermie to me. If the flowers have opened they have released therit pollen. The upside is that hermie flowers often have little or no pollen to speak of - nothing like full male sacs. You may find some seeds... Either change strains or look for a light leak.

It's okay to "lollipop" by cutting off lower growth in the form of small shoots and buds but DO NOT cut off any of the plants fans, most especially the big ones. As the plants mature into flowering these leaves will die off naturally, but never cut of pick them off for the reasons mentioned above.

This is mostly BS. Strains come and go, but the good ones stay, so stick with the proven seeds. After growing weed based on High Times reports I can safely say that NONE of those strains, when grown side-by-side with a solid White Widow, Blueberry, Haze, or Black Dom will come out any better...

Depends on your setup. Using a cool tube and a 400w hps I routinely LST mine sideways letting the top buds get as close as 8 inches from the tube with no problem at all. They can go closer but they will bleach out and I don't like that.

Hey Roxi! Nice post. I use pretty much the same method. How long do you think buds will last in the jars? I have some nice FST Grapefruit coming up on one year in the jars. All are gold, can't smoke it fast enough so I guess there will be some christmas presents of the smokeable type this year.

Purple stems are not necessarily an indication of a sick plant. If they are healthy and growing well, don't worry. In other cases it can be a nute deficiancy.
