Gotta show off my boy...To all the Pitbull haters this is for you!

That's what I have - an American Pit Terrier - she's gentle and sweet unless she does not know you and you try to come in my house or yard when we are not there... then she is pretty scary... completely cured my neighbor from an irritating habit of just walking in the front door without...

Gotta show off my boy...To all the Pitbull haters this is for you!

Actually Pits are bred to be aggressive toward other dogs, not people. It's mostly all in the rearing and what you train them to be. Pits are very powerful dogs and hence are often trained to defend and fight.

Gotta show off my boy...To all the Pitbull haters this is for you!

I have a mostly Pit bull, little-bit-o-black lab mix and she is wonderful. I too had a preconcieved notion about Pit Bulls. They are about the most affectionate, loving gentle dogs you can own - not so nervous and hyper as labs can be. They do tend to be territorial and will defend your...

Tricks of the trade; increasing THC content.

Besides getting the correct strain, the very best trick for producing more trichs is to produce a very healthy flowering plant. Use ferts that are geared to growth during veg, and those that are meant for blossoms during 12/12 flower. Give it the best, brightest light you can muster (HPS 400w...

    Unbelievable my light bill

Not sure where you guys live but you have to take into consideration that in many places the cost per kilowatt hour changes according to how much you use. Where I am (Texas) it always gets higher per KWH as you use more. They give you the first and lowest rate at the beginning. As you reach...

Not sure I can help, but I am curious about the dark green thing, I have some clones that became very dark green after they rooted.

help please! yellowing/browning leaves ak48 day 29 flowering.

Some kind of deficiancy. At this late stage it may be nute lockout from a high soil pH. If a soil additive for iron does not work it is probably lockout. Almost all good fertilizers have what the plant needs in terms of NPK, iron, and micronutes, so if you've been using one and you have a...

PLease help me solve this unfixable problem?!?

Pale green leaves will often come back to color if the problem is corrected, but in my experience once they are yellow they will die. Let them die and don't pull them off until they are totally dead.

    seeds

MJ Seeds are illegal in all Federal US facilities (this means airports too). There are exceptions for sterilized seeds with a valid import license and used for obtaining oils, and places where there are valid med laws, but that won't include airports. So yes it's illegal. If you are just...

    FoX Farms

It may have a bit of natural phosphorus in it, but it's safe -no nutes to speak of. Many think FFOF has nutes but in reality the soil has no chemical nutes at all, just those that occur naturally in the soil mix.

Got my seeds in 8 days to US from Seed Boutique

Oh Yeah! This is better than Doc Chronic in his good days. Got three packs of seeds today, plus a freebie, from Gypsy Nirvana (Seedboutique) eight days after I ordered including Veterans Day when there was no mail. All in original breeder packs - Sensi Jack Herer, Sensi NL5 x Haze, DJ Short...

    Ancient Indian Sexing Method

The male will form more of a "claw" shape before it becomes a flower, teh female will, as you said, grow a pistil. Looking for the male claw in a very good way of early sexing. Don't know if it's an old indian trick, a botanist over on HG420 (when it was around) had a great sticky post on this...

    Yellowing during flowering

Excessive yellowing in flower is not normal. In flower only the largest fans should yellow, the rest should remain a healthy green right up to the end. You are describing a common problem of indoor growers - yellowing plants after 10 days to 2 weeks of 12/12. Nutes seem not to be working...

    Any criticism on my purchase!!!

Fab choices, I'm jealous. Grow several different strains at once so you have a good variety of smoke, that's a blast.

Do you get 1 gram per watt or better?

1 gram per watt would equal 13 ounces for a 400w grow. I don't believe it. Simply not enough space under the light, not enough depth of light penetration. I'm assuming the one gram per watt means just bud, no leaves or stems, no seeds, and completely dried? That would be rare. I've seen...

    Bottled Water?

What are you using to try to bring down the pH or your tap water? Vinegar and lime are unstable and often won't work. Try a commercial pH down for plants like Earth Juice Natural Down. It should work. Regarding bottled water - it's usually high in pH, distilled or not. Distillation does...

Yellow leaves? i did research but i dunno what it is. PLEASE help

What is the pH of the water you are using? If it's really high you could be seeing nute lockout. Seems doubtful to me because the plants/soil are not that old.

    Tips of leaves curling?

Looks like the beginnings of nute burn. If, in a few days the edges turn yellow or brown and curl, then you'll know for sure. Miracle Grow is a bit harsh for most pot seedlings.
