I tried searching this. I know I leave water out for 24 hrs before watering, but could i just use filtered water instead or does that need to sit out 24hrs too? thanks. + reps for help!

so i just got back from the hardware store and pet store. i picked up a mini jet 404 ($22), 10ft of tubing ($0.59/ft), a few splitters ($1.50 ea), and a timer ($7). the mini-jet has adjustable settings so right now im trying to figure out what setting to put it on to get the right amount of...

ok i see you just filled a big tub with water and pumped it in there. nice. what kind of pump is that? cause the ones ive looked at are pond pumps that pump gallons/hr aka way toooo much. howd you get it to output just the right amount?

what do you think about niacin? taking it a several days before your test? oh and i drank a bunch of water before my test too, and it came out diluted. meaining too watered down... meaning a no pass or they'll make you retake

so is it as simple as adding 13-3-10 to get 20-10-12 for veg since i already put in a little 7-7-2? i think there was already some of these nutrients in the miracle gro tho also. what do you think?:confused:

They're in miracle grow potting soil. about a month old and dont seem to be having any problems considering the conditions they sprouted in. theyre being taken care of better now tho

ok cause when i transplanted my seedlings i put in 7-7-2 alaska organic fertilizer not knowing much about fertilizer (this was before i found this website and all its useful information). Any suggestions is this ok fertilizer or should i put something else in or wha?

What do the three numbers stand for on fertilizer and how important are they?

it should be close to 80%. maybe just wait a little longer? one of mine didnt sprout til after 10 days

thanks that makes it easier not having to switch. i'll look into the digital ballast that sounds good. quick question tho, why do people suggest mh to veg and hps to flow? and would it cause the plant much stress if i switched midway thru veg from fluoros to hps? should i just wait until flow...

thanks this is all good info. im gunna go ahead and get the 250. probably a mh during the veg then switch it for a hps to flower. i wont be able to get it til next week so i'll try to put some pics up then and you can check em out give any suggestions :peace:

thats an excellent point! i didnt really think about the plants reaching the bulb. could i get away with pruning the plant tops to make them smaller you think?
