my viparspectra is wiping the floor with my vero29s watt for watt

Every plant I put under the COBs showed this type of leaves, and every plant under the vipar is putting out smaller, thicker leaves. They are all the same strain. Someone ITT suggested that the leaves fatten up to absorb more light under the weaker lights. those also don't look like a plant...

my viparspectra is wiping the floor with my vero29s watt for watt

understood. I like to dry them out for transplanting because the plants come out easy so i don't have to destroy the felt good thing because I'm not getting my $800 back ! I'm still excited to see what these lights can do, especially in flower. I have a 5x5x80" flowering tent going right now...

my viparspectra is wiping the floor with my vero29s watt for watt

Thank you for the patient and informative response. I think the lights are a bit overkill for the young plants which were only 30 days from seed. I tried to compensate by putting the lights very far above the plants but the better method would have been to dim the lights. I am going to try...

my viparspectra is wiping the floor with my vero29s watt for watt

I've already answered most of these questions in the OP.. Ive used the exact same 2x4 tents for both lights. both are 200 watts at the outlet. the vero's are 2 feet from the plants and the vipar is 1 foot (I've heard that vero's need more clearance, is this wrong? I've fed them the exact same...

my viparspectra is wiping the floor with my vero29s watt for watt

can you explain why the other tent is looking fine? my feeding and watering schedule has worked for years without vero bulbs, if the plants need more food and water with these bulbs it's a learning curve which is why i'm asking.. i really want these bulbs to work. the fact these plants are dry...

swapped out my chinese blurple panels for timber vero29 bulbs and you won't believe the difference

I have fed both tents on the same schedule, but I agree the vero plants look to have multiple nutrient deficiencies. I will swap half of the plants between the two tents, increase the feeding of the discoloured ones and monitor ongoing progress

my viparspectra is wiping the floor with my vero29s watt for watt

it was timber's 200 watt vero29 framework . the lights are 2-2.5 feet from the canopy run on 100% output the other bulb was a viparspectra kit (200 true watts) about 15" from the canopy. the viparspectra tent also had better airflow which may be a factor. both tents had circulating fans...

swapped out my chinese blurple panels for timber vero29 bulbs and you won't believe the difference

Thank you for the thorough reply. I am shocked because of the seemingly universal support for these bulbs on the forum. It seems too widespread to be a marketing gimmick. I know many users claim to have much better results with the white LEDs so I am hoping some of them will comment as well

my viparspectra is wiping the floor with my vero29s watt for watt

i figured i would try out these new fangled bulbs - but something is amiss. i ran two side by side tents with a 200 watt vero bulb and 200 watt blurple LED. few weeks later the results are astonishing - the blurple tent is thriving while the timber tent has gone to shit. either the whole...

i ran two side by side tents with a 200 watt vero bulb and 200 watt blurple LED. few weeks later the results are astonishing - the blurple tent is thriving while the timber tent has gone to shit. either the whole chip-on-board thing is a scam or i screwed something up big time the vero plants...

How do you know when to flush ?

Yea you're right. This thing is flopping so bad it's probably going to topple over one of these days unless I do something. Here is a new pic. I think she looks better without the flash: any guesses on how long I have left? I am hoping it could be as little as two weeks. I am moving in 3 so...

How do you know when to flush ?

I heard that yet I consistently see top growers fading their plants before the chop.

How do you know when to flush ?

How can you tell when it's time to flush your plants prior to harvest. I know the plant is ready when the trichs turn amber. But if I wait to see them then how can I give the coir a 1-2 week flush without getting degrading the THC during this time? My plant is on day 49 of 12/12 and it could...

They're not ready yet. Harvesting now would be a mistake
