I just use the DR earth bone/blood meal because that's all i can find locally. I pay 7.99 each for the 2.5 lbs box. As far as the NPK difference the Dr earth has 1% more nitrogen in the blood meal. So im sure it will all work the same no matter what brand you go with.

To be honest the M3 soil did not live up to my expectations. It ran out of nutes way too early even in a 10 gallon pot, and it came infested with fungus gnats. home mixed super soil blows it away and is also a bit cheaper.
