The CFL's are running in conjunction with the fluorescent tubes as an experiment to see which works better. I hear that CFL's are efficient and so on but I'm curious to see it first hand. But I think the 600W HPS will be good for flowering though. Yours seem to be working well! :wink:

How warm is the water? Sometimes that can be the cause of insufficient oxygen intake causing plants to droop.

This gives you some information about LST but it sure does seem like alot of work to me and also the added worry of damage as you do it. But it looks as though it might be worth it in the end. I'm a bit old school and want to "let them be free" and grow the way they will...

I just thought I'd post with an update although the plants are pretty much where they were yesterday with slight growth if you were to inspect closely. I also have a photo of the pulley which came with my HPS light. Does anyone have one and if so, what do you think of it? It looks kind of...

I've read up but I just thought somebody else might have tried it. I'm already checking on my soil plants every 6.2 minutes so adding some extra work wouldn't be too taxing. I'll be trying out Hydro if my current grow goes well. ;-)
