mine took 2 weeks to start flowering too. But she is beautiful and full now, no worries. Just make sure there is no light getting to the plant during the darkness period and you'll be fine. Good luck let us know how it turns out.

Do you have a camera? Post a picture of the plants so we can see. I only had my plants in 24/7 light for about 30 days before flowering on the 12/12 cycle and she is a monster now HUGE. However each strain grows at a different speed. What kind of setup do you have? how many lights, what kind...

Just leave it on the current cycle. It took my plant 3 weeks to show sex. some strains just show sex later then others.

I did hear that somewhere before, so I just taped the sides so no light hits the roots.

I have 4 - 42 watt CFL's the 150 watt equivs, and it has been on 12/12 for 3 weeks now.

3 weeks into flowering and I finially determined sex of this plant to be female. I hope it fills out a bit more, it doesn't have alot of body. Must just be because the strain. Oh well I'll let you all know how the rest of the grow goes.

As you can see, she's female. Hopefully she gets bigger, not sure if this strain responds well to 12/12 from seed. I am going to have to keep all of the same conditions, and try this again with a different strain and see how the results differ.

looks live over watering, how often are you watering it?

Go to Walmart, get a clamp light, they are $7 and in the same isle as the bulbs, also pick up a 2 way splitter and you can put 2 bulbs in 1 clamp light.

I would upgrade to more powerful lights. If you're on a tight budget then just pick up a couple 42watt (150watt equiv.) CFL's I use Four of those bulbs for my plant, and it's been amazing so far. I'm in the 3rd week of flowering. You can use those CFL's from start to finish, flowering too.

thanks guys, I was just throwing it out there. I'll keep the same watering program I have been using, the air is already dry and i never leaf feed.

So I read somewhere that in drier conditions the marijuana plant will produce more resin/thc to prevent itself from drying out. So should I underwater on purpose to make the plant produce more? or will the negative effects of underwatering hurt more then its worth?

I'm 3 weeks into flowering and just discovered sex this morning, FEMALE thank god. So I have a nice big female, and a female that I grew 12/12 from seed, so two nice females, Now I just cant wait to see how much they yield.

Very close, let her go a little longer and you will be much happier, let her finish up for another week or so and you'll be golden.

don't listen to bleezyg420 You can grow from start to finish using cfl's. Look at all of my grows, all cfl's start to finish. Don't get me wrong, HPS is very nice, if it's doable for you. Unfortunately, HPS isn't doable for the average person, so stick with your CFL's you will be qite happy in...

The 2nd plant is definately female, I noticed the white hairs today....all thats left is to let it finish flowering, then I will let you guys know how much I get from this little thing.
