Billy, you are in fact quite silly. either one of those setup's will provide an insane amount of light, and i'd very much like to see your farm. 3 x 600 = 1,800 watts 2 x 1000 = 2,000 watts for the (assumed) size of your setup 200w won't make much difference in your electricity bill, or plants...

please please get it out of the mg (murderous grow). the so called time released nutrients are released every time you water. cannabis loves water, and doesn't need that much nutrient. MG + heavy watering = nute burn = low yield or death. excuse my pun but foxfarm soil is dirt cheap and 10x...

all a plant needs to live is light, water, air and dirt. its his first grow so cut him a little slack. the yield won't be much, but trooper i hope you learn from it and enjoy your grow. how's yours cheezy?
