    New Generation LST

The Latest : Every day I try to get a chance to "groom" them; checking the hooks and strings, and adjusting as needed. Before grooming: After grooming : Nothing dramatic going on, which I guess is a good thing. I'm trying to decide how mush longer I want to veg for. I keep on seeing new...

    Anyone having trouble uploading pictures?

I had a file I couldn't upload, saved a copy with a different name, couldn't upload that either. Did the Photobucket thing and there it was. Upload attachment works often enough that i rely on it, but it doesn't work more often than I'd like (which is always).

    Anyone having trouble uploading pictures?

I was worried about that. It's uploading from Photobucket to RIU as an attachment on RIU. I can then delete it from Photobucket, and it still shows up in my RIU post.

    My new grow

The Tall One got dry enough to jar. The extra time flowering made a lot of difference. Final dry weight was one ounce even - nearly twice what I got from The Bushy One, and a better smoke, too. Now to decide if I want to keep cloning this strain, which I had trouble getting to root, or try...

    Anyone having trouble uploading pictures?

I have found that if I can't upload a pic to RIU from my computer, I can upload it to one of those free image hosting sites, and then upload the pic from there to RIU.

    New Generation LST

Some shots from this morning: The tin thing lower right is a passive intake port. I lowered the light [which is a BITCH with the enclosed ballast!] to about thirteen inches above the canopy. I could get closer, but I still want easy access to all four (same reason I decided against a scrog)...

Here Come the Girls - a First Timer's Adventure

Hold your horses! Patience is a virtue that comes to those who wait, you know. I harvested one plant early, but I let her sister go til the end. That one is dry enough to test-smoke now, and it is all-round better smoke. Yeah, it's hard to wait, but the results are worth it!

Here Come the Girls - a First Timer's Adventure

Superb! Nice spread on the canopy. Another couple weeks oughta do it, maybe three? But then, I'm just learning this stuff, myself.

Nice trich shots! Looks mostly cloudy to me.

    New Generation LST

In their new home; re-potted and under the 400W MH. They really needed to be re-potted, they were getting quite root bound. I decided to lower the light, which is a royal pain since the enclosed balast make it so off-balance and hard to move, but the results should be worth it. So, here they are:

    My new grow

Today was Harvest Day for The Tall One. One last before: And after: Am I glad I waited some more on this one? Compare to The Bushy One, harvested too soon: Now, while these get dry, I need to configure the tent back to vegging, and re-pot the clones. As the summer heat starts to really...

    My new grow

Maybe today, maybe tomorrow. Some buds have almost no ambers; some are loaded with 'em. I think how if that big cola weren't there, the light could've been eleven inches closer. Then I look at it again, and I smile.

    Bonsai wire for LST?

I tried doing like that once, and had a problem with the stem growing around the wire, so that the wire was embedded in the stem.

    New Generation LST

I figured it was time to give these girls their own thread. Two each clones from two moms [Nirvana AK48] in soil. Seeing how compact these are structured means I should be able to fit four 6 Gal pots in the tent without crowding. I figure I should rotate the pots a little every day so that the...

Here Come the Girls - a First Timer's Adventure

I tried those Blumat waterers when I was out of town for three weeks once. Results were mixed. The heat and inadequate ventilation made the plants stretch way out, but they did seem to have been irrigated. I was only using one per six-gallon pot, but I should have had at least three or four.

My 400w LST & Mainlining Closet Perpetual Grow

You got the canopy I'm hoping for! Were you able to complete the circle? How many bud sites do you have? I bet you get your two and a half easy!

    My new grow

Yeah, they're getting big and fat, but still all those white hairs, and the trichs are overwhelmingly cloudy, just a few amber. She's so top-heavy now I had to tie up two stings to keep her upright, which you can see in the first photo above. I'm watching very closely, but since I don't know...

    My new grow

Getting closer: b.real - I am flowering under 400W HPS, This morning I put the buds from The Bushy One into a jar. I'll have to get me one of those hygrometers. Yield from that one was a little over a half-ounce (dry). I'm curious to see how much I get out of this one. Clones are doing...
