Important! I cut down a male, and just set it aside in a bag. A couple of days later I took a look, and saw that the pollen sacs had opened up in the meantime, with pollen wafting through the air.:shock: Luckily I was able to contain it, but I learned my lesson!

OK. So, the lights now go on at 8:00 AM and off at 8:00 PM. I want them to go on at 10:00 PM and off at 10:00 AM. When they go off at 8:00, I would unplug them for 26 hours (10:00 the next night), then plug them back in and re-set the timer to 10:00-10:00, right?

Just checked, and my clones finally rooted!:grin: Got them in soil, still under the t5s, where they'll probably stay until I harvest the Moms. They don't look too pretty; I hope they were'nt stressed, and grow healthy:

Changed over to HPS yesterday. Definitely warmer than MH. I think I'll add another air intake port, which would be a good idea anyway, as the sides of the tent are caving a lot.

I have the identical fixture, and it works well for me. I agree what you said about it being heavy; besides that, the center of balance is off to the side of the ballast, making it even more awkward to handle. Once fixed in place, though, it works a champ.

Signs of life? Well they're still green (mostly) and not shriveled/curled. But still no visible roots.

Yeah, I've been reluctant to saturate the soil, needlessly, really. The pots have drainage, and it's not every day. I went with soil because it seemed less complex that all that Hydro stuff, but it still doesn't grow itself! Got to keep aware.

Went to 12/12 last night, still with MH. I gave them some extra water this morning, 'cause it looked like they needed it. They looked better afterwards. Still waiting on roots on the clones, but they look healthy, so I think it's just a little more waiting.

Thanks for the support. This is the first time I've tried growing Indica, and I'm just doing it as straight forward as possible. I'm eager to see how well they flower; the stuff I raised a couple of years ago was pretty pathetic. I think having proper ventilation is what's doing the trick this time.
