seedling with seed shell stuck to it

I usually mist the seedling a few times and then gently try to remove it with tweezers. What causes this? Most of the time you will see this with highly resinous Indica plants. Yes, even at that early of an age their resin can be that strong. Noticed it with 3 out of 6 LA Cons I recently...

    Teeniest Pot Plant Ever???

Does anyone else feel like a pedderass after seeing all this infant bud porn?

anti-pathogene & root stimulator coated seeds

Ive commented on numerous threads at length about them. They suck and are nothing but a marketing gimmick. I would start germing your coated seeds up to 4-5 days before any normal seeds. Out of my 5, on 3 popped and only 1 is growing on pace with my 15 normal plants... IMO, if it aint broke...

Do i really need CO2 for my flowering plants?

Im guessing it has to be. I agree with you though man, but even a mid-level CO2 system should only run you $150-300 max. And by mid-level I mean for 1 large tank or 2 20lbs, a regulator, time and hoses...that will work for 10-30 plants. But yes, CO2 can give you great benefits, but you wont...

    Greenhouse seeds dispute

I like how so many people are defending them, yet explaining how you have to go out of your way for a high germination rate...They are seeds. Mark them properly! I would MUCH rather see what the shell of my bean looks like. Some people can tell alot from the outer shell of a seed. I am only...

Do i really need CO2 for my flowering plants?

I agree with you here. CO2 tanks and regulators are the ONLY way to use CO2 right. BUT, as I said, it doesnt cost a fortune. The yeast/sugar CO2 methods, only works in a small cabinet grow, and even then, you arent controlling your CO2...

Do i really need CO2 for my flowering plants?

Why not use the CO2 calculator to determine your needed CO2 output? All you are doing is trying to find the most expensive way to go about things... All you need is 2 timers... One for CO2, one for exhaust... I set mine to run every 15 minutes, or once an hour for 15 minutes(depends on which...

    Greenhouse seeds dispute

For starters, THEY ARE SEEDS! Why should MJ seeds from different breeders germinate differently? Oh yeah, because Green House went out of their way to give you a product that is more flash than dash... Colored seeds are a joke. I was 19/19 on my none Green House Seeds, but only 3/5 from their...

    Advice for someone in Montana?

You can also notice poor advice from the past of the guy who told you no Miracle Grow... In another thread he instantly claimed a plant was female based off a terrible picture and criteria that makes you scratch your head... so be aware of badass advice! There are plenty of people on here...

    Advice for someone in Montana?

Probably because he has read all the success that people have with Miracle Grow. Miracle Grow mistakes seem to come ONLY from first time growers. That just shows how LITTLE you have read and know about Miracle Grow. https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/124992-3rd-grow-papaya-seeds-11.html...

    Yellow wiithering older leaves

bump...i am curious too. I have healthy looking plants, but they have had some heat issues ~82-84 the last 5 days, but the portable A/C finally found its way from "lost" to delivered! They look great on their tops, with a little slowed growth from the heat, but most their lower leaves have died...

Do i really need CO2 for my flowering plants?

$500+ dollars? I got 2 20lbs tanks, regulator and all the tubing for $150 cash. Hell even if I bought it all brandnew, I would have been looking at $300. Why try to turn people away from CO2 just because you have no facts? Try craigslist. A simple search for "hydroponic", "hps", "co2"...

    space case grinder question

Buy a sharpstone. I got one that you could see through and about $25 shipped off e-bay. I have seen no difference in the performance of mine, versus any others, except you can see through mine, and determine when the bud has been ground up properly.

    sterilize/wash hydroton

I get 2 buckets and a net cup. I fill the net cup and rinse it with a water hose, and toss it into the empty bucket. I do this back and forth 3 times, while rinsing the "clean" bucket each time. It seems to work well. I see very little dust in my res'z anymore!

    Foliar sprays

Ive got some young plants (6th day of veg) and i really enjoy misting them with water and rhizitonic... Anyone have any suggestions of products I can pick up for the next 3 weeks of veg? Would possibly try 2 different sprays and do a comparison.

Do long flowering Sativas yield less than Indicas? (g/ per plant / month)

They are 2 totally different types of highs. It is more of an to each his own type deal. If you are growing medically, you wouldnt be asking a question about what type of plant you want...

    Powering an attic

I have appreciated all the help in from this thread! I just went back up there with a flood light and I saw something I must have casually missed yesterday... a breaker box, with 1 breaker in it. I am not sure what size breaker. There is nothing written on the switch to indicate anything about...
