So why exactly do we dislike this style of LED array? They are easy to power and put off a lot of light for their size, but as long as you have it paired with a nice heatsink you're good. Of course they won't be as good as a high dollar led setup, but maybe for a closet grow?

I've been using distilled gallons, 0 ppm and 5.6 ph out of the jug. Might invest in an ro system if I ever expand. My tap water is horrendous

My bad, I meant I'd Google it, but thanks for the help! I have noticed that since switching to the bucket without a water pump my ph is much more stable, is that from the top feed I had causing more evaporation than a closed bucket
