Took some clones from my gals and put em in the aerogarden But didn't scrub out all of the seeds in the pots. Result? One of the clones is having mint growing out of his roots. I wonder if this will somehow effect the plant

Yes, switch to 12/12 fast. What I don't understand though is why you put your light on the most stretched out position initially? You could've just lowered it and not need the other CFLs for a long time
