ok, i put in 2 ounces of RAGWEED (all buds w/stems 56grams) also i put in a nice 2 to 3 gram bud of REGULAR good weed ( not hydro ) with 1 stick of butter and approx 4 cups of water. i let it simmer for 5 hours and strained it thru cheesecloth and a strainer. its now cooling in the fridge...

first time i used 28 grams of weed to 1 stick of butter,, the weed was horrible, thats why i used 1 full ounce,, today im using 2 ounces or crappy weed and another big bud of decent pot,, hopefully this works better..

actually, i heard that the water takes away all the contaminants.. all the crap you dont want in the butter.. my butter turned out lame,, i used a poor quality weed and not sure i got alot of thc out of it.. why esle wouldnt i get high from the cookies?

ok,, made the butter and i got it cooling,, but it doesnt look like theres too much butter floating to the top.. did i do something wrong? or does it take a loong time to cool down enough to see it.. i used a little over a stick of butter with 3 cups of water..

200 celcius is boiling,, i thought you werent suppose to boil it,, just a simmer..

ive been looking at alot of marijuana recipe sites and found this trick,, hes correct in saying it washes out the chlorophyl. i think you do it in tepid water so it doesnt affect the thc.. i would love to find out more about this.. anything to help reduce bad taste in weed related products,, lol

i bought a vapo-matic,, im not sure im using it correctly. it doesnt get me as high as if i were to smoke it,, does vapo's get you just as high as when you smoke it? does anyone have experience with these types of vaporizers? id rather not spend 600 bux on a volcano if i dont have to,,
