i really want to hold off on the nutes just beacause my soil has everything it needs, so i checked the ph of the water i have been giving them and it was 7.8 or higher. could this be the problem?

i was told i shouldn't give any nutes until i transplant and but under the 1000w. what is your opinion? this came from a credited grower but i need input she couldn't give me a positive answer on what is wrong.

no nutes im using light warrior seed starter by fox farm soil and a T5 light they are watered once every 7 days the soil is usualy 1/2 inch dry the light is about 2 inches from the taller plants

Is it also normal for the two leaves that come out with the cotyledons to also turn yellow then brown and die off?

Are the first leaves also suppose to die off like cotyledons ?
