What is the worst strain you have smoked or grown?

I second the motion. Just say no to Tangerine Dream...and it says lots about a seed provider who would continue to hype it.

    Connoisseur Genetics?

GDP is OK. I had better luck with the Rainbow Jones. Very disappointed with Grateful Casey , - big yield but not extremely potent.

When supersoil runs outta juice too early...???

I've never used the TGA Soil Packs. I'd probably just keep it for the next batch of soil, or use as a top dressing. I use a tea EVERY TIME I water...works almost like a hydro system, constantly keeping roots moist with a very light nutrient tea. Difference is, unlike hydro, my tea is full of...

When supersoil runs outta juice too early...???

I agree, but I'd be a bit more careful about the ingredient mix. If you don't want to mess with mixing your own organic tea, try going to Kelp4less.com adn score some compost tea starter, molasses and Ripe Blend. Foliar feed with very light mixture of soluble kelp and a little molasses.

Bone Meal vs Bat Guano release times

Give coco another try. Some are much better than others. Cheaper ones need lots of rinse to remove salts. Just like life, "variety is the "spice" of organic gardening." I like a wide variety of organic materials and reuse as much as possible. Recently discovered a good source of llama/alpaca...

    Autotrimmer?

Never say never....especially if you've never tried it. I don't feel like I'm diminishing quality of the product at all by using my trimpro automatik. It's also a matter of volume. When you're looking at 30 or 40 days of hand trimming, you look for better options.

    Autotrimmer?

Trimpro Automatik. I'm satisfied with results. Not quite as god as hand manicured wet, but boy can it handle lots and lots in a day.

    sources of silica

I've used silica additives from two sources. One is a local company here in Montana -- called Montana Grow, and I add 1/4 cup as topdressing to each 15 gallon fabric pot. Kelp4less.com has silica that is much finer and easier to put in waterings, and I usually add that to outdoor grows when the...

    Foliar Spray Receipts.!?

If you believe ANYTHING you read on the TGA website I have a bridge I'd like to sell...I've found some keepers among the TGA seeds I've popped and will continue to experiment with the strains, but the propaganda on the characteristics of the strains is sheer bullcrap.

Vacuum Sealing (for curing and storage)

I find that different plastics attract and cling to trichomes differently. For example, my (non-scientific) observation is lower density plastic, like "ziplock" bags attract resin like a magnet -- whereas the higher density bags like "turkey roaster bags" do not seem to have the same level of...

    Organic Growers: Breed or Cloning?

I used to be interested in making my own crosses, but ran out of enthusiasm when it became evident that it takes many, many, many crosses to find a keeper and I ended up running lots of mediocre seeds, taking up valuable space in the garden. Now I buy the best seeds I can and make a clone of...

What do you like to use to feed beneficial microbes and fungi???

I don't know the science...but have had good results with all sorts of molasses. I've had 5 gallon buckets from the local feed store, dried molasses from Kelp4less.com and expensive boutique molasses from Eden Solutions. All seem to work, but I don't have the time or energy to compare them. I...
