cfl to keep the plant on the light cycle dipshit you know so they dont go to "sleep" you pick up right where you let off while you run out to replace the ballast do you see? can you understand ?

looks like you are cooking them with that light i have 400w and i keep it a foot off the canopy and its air cooled radiant heat is still a factor

i male will seed your whole garden and wreck your crop in both yeild and quality the fems willput energy into making seeds not dank weed

if you are losing fan leaves like that something is very wrong and can kill your plant

only trick with those rooters is watch for stem rot as the plant grows i widen the hole around the stem and once the plant gets big enough i peel it away so there is no chance of rot

there is no fan in a lumatek atleast mine dont i had to replace a galaxy ballast started to hum and flicker the light ever so slightly went out completely two days later

if you bought it locally i would just hang a cfl in there to maintain the light cycle and take it back for replacement i have a lumatek and it dont buzz

its not the plug ive used rapid rooters in hydro for years and have 90+ % germ rate hope you didnt break the tap root shock will ensue

good stuff jo thanks for the reply just a thought rolling aroung my brain as to a possible cause as ive have not issue with germ rates myself and as vigoriously as people defend their germ techniques (and im sure some are flawed) thought maybe an alternative explanation may be at play in some cases.

Every so often i read a post about folks recieving seeds that never sprout or very low germination rates and i got to thinking about the long trip these packages make . As i really cant find much info on the effects of xray or gamma scanning on seeds . Thou not all packages are subjected to xray...

with my luck id probly be smoking male fan leaves regardless of the the strain
