    Best bulb for the budget?

Currently I have 3 daylight 6500k CFL bulbs goin for 5 plants, but I wanted to be prepared for what type of light I should get for flowering. As I understand, it's best to have a light in the red spectrum of light for flowering? Also, i know the HPS lights are generally the best to get, but...

how to use light efficiently? lst? Mylar? etc etc

is the 250 watts the incandescent lightbulb equivalent or the actual wattage? it depends on the set up of your plants; if they are gonna be spread out fairly far from each other, having multiple lights is a must. you cant just have one big guy in the middle of those and expect every plant to get...

HELP FAST!: seedlings growing too tall!?

I honestly don't know how or why that would be a halogen bulb as it had no indication of that anywhere on the packaging or the bulb. I specifically looked for a non-halogen bulb. Either way, i have the new CFLs goin right now about 4 inches from the plants. do two 26 watt CFLs for 5 seedlings...

HELP FAST!: seedlings growing too tall!?

well heres the same thing i think, same shape and look of it at least. its basically a flood spot light, so i think its giving off plenty of light (and there are two of them for 5 plants). there is a good amount of heat produced by them as well (not too hot though), so they seem to be ok. last...

HELP FAST!: seedlings growing too tall!?

what it seems like to me as im reading the posts is it could be a heat problem. the plants dont seem to be to be heat stressed or anything but it feels rather warm in there. also there is one that seems to be bent a bit (without touching). i feel as if there is plenty of light, so it could be...

HELP FAST!: seedlings growing too tall!?

we have two, what i think are called dome lights, that are about 125 to 150 watts and i lowered them further today. it seems like the heat is a little too much with them so close but the plan is just to try it out and see how it goes obviously. thanks for the help guys, any other ideas?

HELP FAST!: seedlings growing too tall!?

on about the 6th day for my seedlings and they seem to be growing too tall (3-4 inches tall) and are maybe a little weak as the stems aren't quite straight (as i understand, spacing between the top soil and first node is indicative of how the buds will be spaced, therefore it would be ideal to...
