Using Liquid Fertilizer with Drip Irrigation

Never planned on using chemical miracle gro for fertilizer, only was thinking of using the miracle gro canister to release fish emulsion to the plants.

Using Liquid Fertilizer with Drip Irrigation

Next year I plan on using drip irrigation with timers and trying to figure out how to utilize liquid fertilizer into the system. The water supply will be from a spring that fills a barrel, which distributes water to the patch. I won't be able to mix fertilizer into the barrel since it will...

    Deer Problems

I actually had some 4 ft bushes that got chomped by deer and it was right when they started to bud in Aug/Sept. I heard "liquid fence" pest repellant is the way to go if you don't consider building a fence. I tried a repellant that I got from OSH and it sucked.

    Fan use in 3x3 box

I think I will just keep the top fixed then as it would be difficult to hang lights. I will look into the pc fan. Is the noise from these fans about the same as the average computer.

    Fan use in 3x3 box

That what I was thinking, although if its only 4 ft from my bed this could pose a noise problem. Do you think it would be ok if the whole top of the box was left off for ventilation?

    Fan use in 3x3 box

I'm considering starting a few mother plants in a 3x3 grow box in the bedroom. Due to noise issues, I will not be able to run the fan at night while I am sleeping. I wanna ask if this is ok since the light will not be on and heat should not be an issue. I plan on constructing the box out of...

Any laws on Starting Indoors then Out?

Just remember not to place in direct sunlight when you first remove them from indoors. Also, I believe some strains will go into flower if you put them outside too early such as March or April. You might actually get away with April and get some monsters.

    Carport GreenHouse 2011

Purple power with lots of mold? I am in nor cal and was thinking of growing this strain for next year due to its claimed mold-resistent capabilities. Any other strains you recommend for nor cal that have better for resisting mold?

Its fucking raining in the Bay. Doesnt this suck!

Just like every harvest season in the bay area, exciting for buds to finish although nerve racking with our first rains that come sept/oct time. I've been already finding mold spots on my plants for the last 4 wks. This is why I will never grow anything that isn't mold resistent. It simply...

    Carport GreenHouse 2011

DoubleJJ: I just looked at the pics of your son's race day. I live in norcal too and I miss riding that track. They don't use the track for open practice any more do they?

    MN Outdoor Guerrilla Grow

I noticed in your harvest pics that you use garbage bags and an old duffel bag. I used to use that type of stuff for my harvest until I bought a mesh decoy bag for duck hunting off ebay for $25. The ventilation is better, much more durable than a trash bag, can be worn on your back, and fits...

The place to hang my plant

I always have dried my stuff in the forest. Just make sure the 7 day forecast has no chance of rain and hang dry in a grove of trees. These provides the buds with moisture shelter and cannot be easily seen by theives.

potent, yet mold resistant purple strain with high yield?

. Holy sh*t!! Is that just 1 plant. If a plant that thick and leafy does not mold the stuff has got to be mold resistant

Dried pot a little too much

Yesterday afternoon I put my pot in paper grocery bags and set it out on my lush lawn in the shade. The grocery bags had tortillas and fresh green leaves inside. After a few hours the pot was just where I wanted it. Now its just a little spongy without being so brittle. Thanks for all the...

potent, yet mold resistant purple strain with high yield?

I'm in the exact same boat as you. Living on the coast of cali with lots of fog brings mold as a major factor. I have done a good amount of research on mold resistant strains where I've found: purple haze, purple power, and sweet purple are all mold resistant with decent to high yields. Also...

Dried pot a little too much

I mite try the corn tortilla idea if leaving it outside in paper bags does not work out. I'm just glad to hear that I didn't ruin the buds by over-drying. Can't wait to enjoy this nice purple stuff lol.

Dried pot a little too much

We just had a heat wave and my pot dried to the point where it crumbles pretty easily. I was thinking about leaving it outside overnight in paper bags to give it just a little moisture. I dried it outside and noticed that each morning the bud would be moist compared to the end of the previous...
