    Thoughts on democrats and republicans.

Aside from acting like an immature myrmidon, you are massively oversimplifying your supposed point. Your "constitutuional" argument applies to only one type of tax -- Federal Income taxes (which btw, the original FEDERAL income tax in America was NOT passed by constitutional amendment. It was...

    Fox Farms Products

Yes. I follow their feeding schedule for soil EXACTLY, with the exception that I will also add some AN Big Bud and Cal-mag into the program during weeks 2 through 5 of 12/12. DO NOT follow the directions on the bottles!!! Just print out the schedule on their website and follow it. You might want...

Rolling Stone fan's get in here!

Love almost everything by the Stones, but Gimme Shelter is the absolute best work they ever did imho. I still get chills everytime I hear that song!

    Fox Farms Products

That's cool as shit dude!!! I think you are the first one to ever comment on the avatar. I'm a huge PF fan from WAY back. The first time I saw them was back in '77. I've seen them probably a dozen times since then. Always an absolutely incredible show! Even without Roger! I had to laugh at your...

Doing Things Right, Getting Low Yields?

Not enough info on your set-up, friend. I tend to concur with Dirtfree, but without a clue about what equipment/nutes/gear you are running there is no way to give an educated answer. One thing I will say though, your veg time is NOT too short. I only veg for 4 weeks normally and average just...

Planting 2 plants in one 5 gallon pot

Absolutely! 5-gallons is plenty big enough for any reasonably-sized plant.

    Fox Farms Products

Cha-ching is an absolute must, in my opinion. I've done side-by-side experiments (No, I absolutely do NOT do pics or journals!) and the difference was VERY noticeable. Plus, a one pound bottle will last you through many grows because you use so little of it. Beastie Blooms is also good stuff...

    Foxfarm's Liquid Microbial inoculant....Any results?

I've been using the full Fox Farm line up for quite a while with a particularly good Power Kush phenotype that I cloned the shit out of. I just recently added the 3 new products (microbe brew, kangaroots, and sledge hammer) to my arsenal. I just switched to 12/12 with the first grow using these...

    Does Topping increase your yield

Topping will absolutely increase your overall yield if done correctly. But to really increase things most people need better lighting. Not necessarily MORE lighting (ie. increased lumens --- which certainly don't hurt), but better distribution of the light that IS available. This is where the...

why glass jars, why not a plastic bag?

Check at your local grocery store/Target/Walmart?etc for the big 1/2 gallon mason jars. I get them at the local Kroger for $7.99 for a 6-pack. They each hold buds up to about 10 or 11" long and each jar comfortably holds 2+ ounces for curing/storing.

Fox Farm Growers please, Nutes advice with Ocean Forest/BIG BLOOM/TIGER BLOOM/BG

Just follow the Fox Farms schedule EXACTLY (nutes and additives) and you'll be just fine with most strains. To be safe, you may want to start at 1/2 strength (although I have always found this unnecessary). The only thing additional I use is when I water (no nutes) I will add 1 tsp of CalMag to...

Hortilux HPS Bulb or a "Regular" MH for Veg?

Either will work well, and most traditionalists would say veg under a MH light, but I've got to agree with DD420 here. I've tried both and I consistently get better results using a modern expanded spectrum HPS like a Hortilux. Plus, I don't have to disassemble my hood/change bulbs/etc everytime...

hidden door to grow room idea

I used a much less expensive method, which I did myself (since you obviously don't want others knowing about your hidden room). I had a rectangular room (used to be the kitchen) that I was going to remodel into a office/spare bedroom. In order to put a closet in I had to build a new wall on...

my hunch is that tiger bloom is not needed until maybe cha ching time!!!!!

Well, apparently you hate to hear from people like me, but..................If you follow the schedule you shouldn't have issues. I use the entire FF line-up and I grow strictly in FFOF cut with approximately 25% perlite. I also grow under a digital 600-watt MH/HPS. I have been following the...

    younger people

No back-lash from me! I personally think you stated that extremely well. It's just a natural, instinctive thing for most young mammals to respond to a more aggressive authoritarian tone, ie a female voice generally doesn't instill the fear of God in a child quite like a pissed-off males does...

    Older smokers vs younger

I'm 46, so I guess I'm neither old nor young (actually feeling physically old while retaing my juvenile delinquent mentality!). Age isn't an issue for the most part. I've partied with people 1/3 my age and double my age and enjoyed being with them all. It's more about the individuals and the...

comments on -Barney's pineapple chunk and LSD also Dutch passion's Euforia

I've grown BFLSD several times. It's a good, solid smoke that will stone the shit out of you, but isn't as great as some of the hype would indicate. It has a VERY funky taste (you know those hand wipes that KFC gives you with your meal? it tastes something like those smell, if that makes any...

    What have I done?

Actually, I can see where you could if you are using it on seedlings that young. I follow the FF schedule, except I start in on it around week 4 of vegging. You don't need any nutes of any kind for the first 3 to 4 weeks in most decent soils.
