    Striking out with seeds

I second the KISS method. Paper towels, baggies, soaking in water, humidity domes, etc are just presenting more opportunities for problems such as damaging the tap root or damping off. I place the seeds in straight coco or rapid rooters, use plain water and always get above 90% germ rate. Keep...

    NukaKola's Indoor (Coco/LED)

I hope so. They aren’t as bulky as I’m used to seeing with HPS but I’ve heard LED buds are considerably denser despite the smaller size. I’m quite impressed with the quality under LED so far and I’m very interested to see how they perform yield wise once I run a mono crop with clones.

Been rocking that exact tent for a few years, it’s nice quality for the price. Just made a bench to make it 2 tier for clones/moms & vegging. I’m sure you will be happy with it.

Need a cheap grow light Under $100

It’s super simple. You stick the included adhesive pad onto the heatsink and screw the board down using the included screws. Wire a plug onto the input side of the driver and connect the +/- from the output side of the driver to the +/- connectors on the board. It sounds harder then it is and a...

LED grows and foxtailing buds.. common trait in all LED grows?

I think it has to do with the fact that most LED’s are densely packed diodes running high wattages and being hung much too close to the canopy. A QB 288 running ~150w needs a significant distance from canopy as it’s close to 0.5w/diode and spread over a relatively small area. Running strips or...

Gorilla Lite Line vs Other Budget Tents.

I've been interested to try the AC Infinity tents but they are all out of stock with no ETA available. I've been using a Plant House grow tent from Growers House for a few years and it's pretty nice quality and fairly cheap. They had an uncommon size which I wanted for my veg tent (2.5'x5').

Don’t feel like I did it justice. I flipped late and it stretched like crazy. I have another pack so might give it another run in the future. Definitely going to veg shorter next time.

    Kit of DIY LED Connectors/Hardware

Not all that expensive, and you will have enough to make several lights depending on how many strips you use. Hlg 650r

This is one reason I feel that strips are superior, especially in a tent. The HLG 650r is a very powerful light, the fact that it has 4 boards that aren't spaced very far apart and are driven to ~150w per board, it definitely requires adequate distance from canopy. I think you could get away...

315 CMH vs Horticulture Lighting Group 260W XL QB288 V2 R-Spec QB LED Kit

They are very comparable in performance. If you already have the 315w CMH, I don’t think it’s worth spending $350. If you have high temps problems the QB might have some benefit but if you are managing temps fine then I would stick with the CMH. CMH also has a bit of UV which LED lacks.
