    First topping

At 82°, high 60's will serve you well. Oh, I've managed to f up a few grows but topping wasn't the issue. ;-)

5x5 grow 4 plants? Whats the yield looking like?

If you give your plants enough light, you should at least meet the seed seller's estimates for yield. It's almost impossible to cause damage to a cannabis plant with an LED grow light. In four years on three cannabis sites, I've only seen it once. It is quite possible to give plants too much...

    First topping

Looking at the thermometer in the photo, the temp is 82°, which is great for a seedling, but it looks like the RH is 50-something. If that's the case, your plant will have an easier time if you increase the humidity. A plant that young is still developing the root system that's needed to take up...

    First topping

You've topped the plant by cutting the apical stem flush with the fourth node. I suspect that will allow the stem to split as the plant matures. I can't definitely say that will harm the plant but I don't think it helps the plant. When topping plants in the future, it's fine to top at the...

Second grow dwc to autopotspider farmer self watering system 100% coco

Plants are looking great! With lots of food (light) and a good supply of vitamins and minerals (fertilizer/nutrients) they should continue to do really well. @Wastei hits it on the head with "More nutrient is not better and won't make the plant grow bigger or faster, it's the other way...

    Water question

As I would not bubble air through it. The only outcome of that is that the CO2 in the air will drop pH—you can't super saturate O2 in a nutrient solution by bubbling. Other than that, there shouldn't be an issue. Nutrients are designed to go into solution easily and most do so quite well. You...

    Ec pen

EC is the international standard but the EC reading can be converted to a "parts per million" value. "Parts per million of what?", is a logical question. Bluelab has a good tech note on the PPM scales. Handy to know but the easiest way to avoid confusion is to stick with EC.

Second grow dwc to autopotspider farmer self watering system 100% coco

Time well spent. I take screenshots and make notes, as well. A DLI of 55? Better than 54, not as good as 56. Cannabis does not need a "lights out" period. A grow that's running 18/6 vs 24/0 is getting 33% less light, all other things being equal. Autopotomus states that he grows his autos...

Second grow dwc to autopotspider farmer self watering system 100% coco

Very true. It's another tool for a grower to use. There's a fair amount of research into setting up the grow environment and it gets pretty detailed but the "short and sweet" is this one (short < 1 hour) I'm very comfortable with "Do these things and you're good." and that's pretty much what...

Got it. You're in a 4' x 4'? How are you measuring PPFD? :-) I just watched one of his YT videos with Dr Growit. Appreciate the nudge. "leaf tucking" - he's able to get the apical stem down to the level of the lower branches. That's crucial because that allows the growth hormones to not be...

That's really interesting that you're getting that shape. What light are you using?

Second grow dwc to autopotspider farmer self watering system 100% coco

Unless you top your plants, which removes the apical stem, you end up with a "Christmas tree" shaped plant. And that plant shape is very hard to light evenly if your plants grow to a medium or tall size. Topping gets rid of the Christmas tree shape and makes it easier to grow a plant with an...

Looking great! That's a tremendous amount of growth for the 21 day mark. All of that foliage will thin out as the plant matures. What's your experience with topping? I top and LST all of my grows. For topping, I usually top at day 21, just above the fourth node. I don't want to drill holes in...

    Marks on the leaves

I'm seeing mottled green color, overall light green color, curling edges in the leaves (tacoing from too much light), and downward point tips at the ends of leaves. I'm not that familiar with imbalances, nor with variegation, for that matter, but as the song says, "there's something happening...

Seedling LED light stress??? AC Infinity EVO4

The Evo has a hot spot in the middle which can make it tricky to light a grow well but, if you've got the extra light, you can use it for a "fill light". I bought a Vipar XS 1500 to unf*ck a grow where I foolishly tried to use one light to cover two plants of very different sizes (my first...

Seedling LED light stress??? AC Infinity EVO4

At that hang height and that dimmer setting, the PPFD is about 260µmol. At 10%, the plants are getting ~100µmol. Cannabis starts to die at ~60µmol so at 10% and 25" the OP is almost in "flat spin" territory. Cannabis is able to use a staggering amount of light. At "three nodes" (~14 days?) 20%...

    Leafs tacoing aka canoing

Good that you're feeding your plants well but, when they taco, that's a sign that they're getting a bit too much. What to do depends on how you got to where you are. At what hang height and dimmer setting did your plants hit the light saturation point (that's the light level above which they...
