    Swapping to LED for Summer

Well, you certainly won't be hurting for light!

    Swapping to LED for Summer

That's partially genetic but light intensity, apparently, plays a role. In a 60cm tent, the Vipar Spectra XS 1500 Pro is the cat's meow. You can shoehorn the Mars in a tent that size but you can't use all of the light that it generates, the Vipar (probably) has a better spectrum for a tent...

Nitrogen/magnesium/calcium deficiency and what im planning to do

I haven't seen light bleaching and I've run >1300µmol at times. My understanding is that bleaching was not uncommon using HPS. The only time I've seen "bleaching" discussed with LED's has been from Bugbee and, just recently, Hawley (Fluence). Both sources found the same cause - very high light...

    Swapping to LED for Summer

If you're in the Mars ecosystem, that's a good fit. Why are you "leaning toward 300w"?

Nitrogen/magnesium/calcium deficiency and what im planning to do

You're welcome. I'm glad that you find this information useful. Two "jumps" should work well. If you can't hit 800-1000, that could be the cultivar, the environment, or the environment + cultivar but your plants look very healthy so they we'll see how they do with the extra food. Re. the...

Nitrogen/magnesium/calcium deficiency and what im planning to do

"I guess I'm a bit nervous to drive them harder" - you're not "driving them" (but that is common perspective) you're feeding them. Light is how a plant makes food via photosynthesis and, in general terms, the more the merrier. As long as light is the limiting factor, a cannabis plant will...

Nitrogen/magnesium/calcium deficiency and what im planning to do

Plants are looking really good but why are you giving them only 700µmol? I do understand abiding by "conventional wisdom" and, as much as I've always been one to "drink upstream from the herd", it wasn't until my second year of growing that I changed to "high light".

    JIMSKI'S 4X4 FOLLIES

Even better! :-) I use the little one (2' x 4' tent) - "condensate catch" = at the end of the hose?

    LED vs H.I.D

The attached paper might be the one you're referring to. "yield dilution" - the Frontiers paper discusses provides some insight into this and cites a few other sources that have looked into it, ref. "Increasing Light Intensity Enhances Inflorescence Quality"

    JIMSKI'S 4X4 FOLLIES

700 watts on 16 square feet - that ought to do the trick!

    Side lighting

Apologies for the late reply… When I see leaves taco/canoe. I suspect that leaves that are praying at a high angle are on the cusp.

    Help... cold water stress???

"Inside of a pumpkin" - so that's what the inside of a pumpkin smells like, eh? I describe is as "clean dirt". When I first looked at that photo, WTF! Rabbit pellets on the roots! PoolShock - I might give it a try for my next grow.

    Help... cold water stress???

That's the reaction of most/many growers - something's gone sideways with the plant so they turn down the light. "My kid fell off his bike and hurt his arm so I took away dinner until he's better." When you reduce light levels below the light saturation point, photosynthesis slows down...

    Help... cold water stress???

Which tells us that you something other than H and O in the wells. "Instead of using my stored water (65)" - drawn from well #1 and stored in a cistern?

    Help... cold water stress???

"benzene" - that was my semi-annual attempt at humor. In all seriousness, weird things can happen in the water supply. A moderator on a site for autoflowers redid his RDWC set up and started having problems with his grows dying off. It took a couple of grows for him to trace it back to the...

    Help... cold water stress???

Good idea — check EC for both water sources.

    Help... cold water stress???

That was my thought too, that things would turn around when the water temp increased so something got taken up from the well water. Perhaps, too much benzene? "72 not so bad. Ive had mine at 73 with no problems." - you are a wild man! ;-) You run sterile or bennies?

    Help... cold water stress???

If the problem has occurred only as a result of changing the water source, the first step I would take would be to swap the res and go back to the "known good configuration". Re. water temp - 68° is warm enough so that the temperature probably won't drop to 64°, a which point phosphorus uptake...
