Good point alan, for some reason it had never occurred to me to do that. I must still be food 'drunk' from Thanksgiving. So yea, I'll throw half in the flower room at 9am, that'll give them 36 hours of darkness before the lights come on Monday night.

Uncle Ben's Topping Guide Read it, learn it, love it. I used it the first time I topped and recommend it to everybody.

As long as the plant is healthy, I'd say go for it. I topped mine at about that same height and they responded very well to it. It'll also give them some time to 'heal' before you flip them to flower.
