I'll play devils advocate.. I live in a keeping it simple world.. I prefer 24 hour for my cuttings and veg for a number of reasons.. the least of which is it is impossible for me to fuck things up light wise.. heh.

That said, I have found taking anything after the 4th week to be rather painful and slow.. BUT, it can yield some incredible results for the LST crowd as it sends a bazillion shoots everywhere when it does take.

Anytime you stress your plants it 'slightly' retards the growth it was having before you stressed it and takes some time to catch back up.. not by weeks, but by hours/days. The plant has to put some energy into redirecting growth and redeveloping new patterns. It will still continue to grow...
