So you do not amend at all? I used botanicare and FFOF while feeding teas/beneficials year.. think I'd get better results this coming year by amending the soil and letting it cook, or just sort of till it up then reuse it? Was just reading through Jorge Cervantes talk about recycling soil. In...

Any tips on using GreenBroz dry trimmer?

How have you been liking the trimmer so far? How are the results? Compared to hand trim? I've been considering buying one, but wonder how the quality trim is?

    Anybody used greenbroz dry trimmer?

Anyone ever used the trimming machine, the "greenbroz dry trimmer"? They've made a huge deal about it at my local grow store I do a lot of business with, saying how great of a quality job it does yada, yada. They Have one on display there, I like the way it's designed, it has very small areas...

That's awesome man. So you liked using subs mix? If it worked well, are you going to use it again for your reused soil or why ask for opinions on what to do with the reused soil? I feel like I'm missing something here lol.

    Bud Trimmer review....the "TrimBot"

Glad you said the thing about the trim while using canola oil/Pam. Wish i would of known it causes your shatter to be runny oil lol, it is a great machine for the price though, I got a lot of great use out of it and it saved me a ton of time + money in trimming. Mine finally broke, but it sure...

I'm gonna be reusing soil this year to, my plan was just to use "subcools super soil recipe" on my old fox farm.. and maybe make the mix a little lighter than his recommendation? Hopefully some of the more experienced users who reuse soil regularly chime in with some advice! Best of luck this year!

    Short growing season improvations

Are those even worth running quality wise? I've thought about running those due to plant counts and for early harvest but most stuff I've read on them is kinda negative

Smart Pot size vs. Growth Height + Width

I didn't read the whole post but you can get them as wide as you want them through training. On my indoor grows I only have 3 10 gallon grow bags filling up two 1000 watt lights in a 4x8 area and they fill the whole area up. Just a long veg and lots of topping and scrogging. Usually yield...

How long can you store quality bud for?

Good point, I really was hoping the vacuum bags would be enough if triple sealed, but that would really suck if moisture got in or a rock/something punctured a hole in them. I have Rubbermaid totes I could burry, which is cheap & I would imagine would still keep it cool enough to preserve it...

How long can you store quality bud for?

That's awesome man I love it thank you so much for the response, really appreciate you taking the time to help out based on experience/What you've seen! Reassuring to hear that. Don't think the rain/moisture or anything could get to it if vacuum sealed enough? Would hate for it to get ruined...

How long can you store quality bud for?

Thanks dude. Ive got curing down pat and have used the jar method (with a vacuum sealer) for a long time for what I'm currently smoking on.. but for larger harvest is more what I was asking which is why I asked about triple-quadrupole vacuum sealing then burrying underground to keep at steady...

    Profit from Your expertise

I know people around My state charging $300-350/hour for consulting when they come to the grow to help out.. guess it depends on the individuals knowledge/experience though. If you're gonna charge, gotta charge what you're worth.

    veg indoors first

Bigger roots = bigger fruits. I did 300 gallon smart pots last year with FFOF and hit 10 LBs on most containers. Lowest yield was 5 LBS each. Most were started in February, some as early as December. Good soil in huge containers + early veg = big yields. Also depends if you're in a med state or...

    veg indoors first

The soil you use in your final hole/container Will make a huge difference. If your soil is very sandy/clay like them i would def recommend either digging a hole then backfilling with good soil or using a container especially if you are starting them this early dumping all that money into it...

How long can you store quality bud for?

Best way to preserve? If vacuum sealed twice and kept in a dark place how long, about a year? What if kept cool, such as vacuum sealed 3-4 times then burried 8-12" under ground to keep a steady temperature? Will untrimmed vs trimmed make a difference in shelf life?

Preparing for my first outdoor grow

Yeah I also yielded a crazy amount... Have you ever had to water with 6,000-8,000 gallons/week? When you're in a hot dry climate with NO rain it changes shit up. Botanicares npk is also very low.. bloom = 1-4-5.. gotta feed just about every watering in bloom.

Preparing for my first outdoor grow

Honestly just fox farm ocean forrest then added some EWC & dolomite lime... expensive AF buying bagged soil, but it's good and reliable. There was no other options for me as I'm in the middle of no where. If I would of had an option to buy some good soil from a nursery or somewhere I would have...
