Just put salt around the perimeter of the plants, it wont affect them at all. I do this outdoors and also with my vege garden.

Salt on the ground for slug and snails. they will come at some stage.

If its possible Thumper you can make your own worm juice with a worm farm. If you have a back yard its easy to make, prob not for this grow but something to think about, Just buy using your food scrapes from your own waste, all free and natural and plants love it. And good for other plants also
