    Found a stream!

Indeed bruv, 5 Jack Herer, 5 Kalashnikova and 5 Chemdawg, all purchased from GreenhouseSeeds last year but I never had a chance to grow em! Yeah I'll probs take your advice and play it safe, I have enough water anyway so I'll be fine to plant 10+ metres away from the pond... and I'll def be...

    Found a stream!

thats actually a pretty good idea bro, to be honest, i could get away with growing a few metres away anyway since i have an unlimited source of water :D

    Found a stream!

But yeah, is planting right on the pond/creek/whateverTheFuckYouWannaCallIt bad for the plant? Like, will it suffer from 'overwatering' as it were?

    Found a stream!

Cheers bro! :) Yeah, fuck it, I'm going for it! Luckily the sun hits my area directly for about 8-10 hours anyway, so I should be fine with that :) I may plant just off the stream anyway because the soil is also damp... I'm guessing the moisture from the little pond makes the surrounding soil...

    Found a stream!

no dude, the water isn't flowing, it's more of a pond than a stream to be honest, but it goes along for quite a way, I haven't followed it all the way down though. I wouldn't know if it rises and/or lowers but my guess would be that it stays roughly the same, maybe it'll dry up in the summer...

    Found a stream!

LOL, yeah, I'll pass on that ;) but I guess I'll find out soon enough, should be fine tho, the greenery there seems to be loving it

    Found a stream!

Yeah, I've got my own mix of organic with vermiculite, perlite, coco and some bat guano so I'll mix it in. Do you think the soil already there will be shitty for cannabis plants? I guess I could describe it as a clay-ish soil. As for the water, I'm guessing it should be fine to use? There's a...

    Found a stream!

no fish, it's a tiny stream at the bottom of a mountain, nobody will get there unless they're planning on doing the same as me lol :D trust, it was fucking difficult to get to, but that's the best thing about it! So yeh any advice on the soil and whether or not I should plant at the base of the...

    Found a stream!

As some of you may know, this will be my first outdoor/guerilla grow. After scouting my location for weeks on google maps, I finally braved it to my spot today, through prickly bushes and shit nobody would wanna walk through. The location is definitely secure, but my main problem was the...

    Topping techniques

The thing is, I have grown many times in the past, but never outdoors. The most I've ever let a plant veg is a month, so I've never been able to properly see if topping for 4 colas is better than topping for, say, 10+ colas, or not topping at all. This is why I've asked the question. However...

    Topping techniques

For those of you who are not new to topping (and for those who are, I suggest you go read Uncle Ben's thread on it), I was wondering if anyone who's ever grown outside has double-topped a plant? As in top it initially to get 4 main stems for example, and then top each of those stems to get...

    Double topping

For those of you who are not new to topping (and for those who are, I suggest you go read Uncle Ben's thread which is pinned to this sub-forum), I was wondering if anyone who's ever grown outside has double-topped a plant? As in top it initially to get 4 main stems for example, and then top each...

techniques for growing huge plants outdoors!

I don't see why the OP thinks topping is a bad idea. I will be doing my first guerilla grow this year, and topping a plant which has ample time to repair and grow seems like the best idea for reasons such as height control and light penetration, I mean, it's cool to have giant plants, but yield...

    Growing in pots or ground?

By amending the soil, do you mean adding nutrients to the soil already there, or mixing it with my own home-made mix of soil? Or both? I think the ground is the way for me to go this time.

    Growing in pots or ground?

Firstly UB can I just say what a legend you are, when I started growing in 2009 I remember using your topping techniques with great success! Anyway dude, I'm not good at describing soil, but its on a hillside with loads of trees and vegetation, so I assume it must be decent soil. If I attempted...

    Best soil mix

Hi guys, I'll soon be doing my first guerilla grow. I was wondering what you think about adding clay pebbles into your soil mix. I saw Jorge Cervantes do it in one of his videos as he said the soil would retain moisture better, which makes sense for me and my situation. My personal mix consists...

    Growing in pots or ground?

Basically guys it's like this, my grow will be a guerilla grow. I have no other choice than to use a mix of the soil at my chosen location along with a soil mix of my own which consists of perlite, vermiculite, coco and organic soil. I have to carry my mix to the location so I'm hoping that...
