    I am a newbie as well but I know that HPS is better for flowering and metal halide is better for seedling and veg, but personally i just used an HPS the whole growth. As for the heat I just use my hand and check the top leaves for heat stress everyday if I'm worried. Hope that helped a little

    I didnt think any of that was necessary, I was just wondering how long they should flower since they are just bag seeds. Using soil, 150W HPS light in a 2ft square area in a closet. Got 4 of them, each about a meter tall. Tried to add more pics but it wouldn't let me, hope thats enough.
